Michael Housman Named 2014 Game Changer by Workforce Magazine
Evolv executive recognized as one of the best HR practitioners and strategists under 40 years old
Chicago, Aug. 6, 2014 — Workforce magazine has named Michael Housman, Chief Analytics Officer, Evolv a 2014 Game Changer. As one of the best and brightest young talents in human capital management today, Housman is among 30 young HR professionals under 40 chosen for the award.
Winners of the fourth-annual Workforce Game Changers awards were nominated by peers and selected by the magazine’s editorial staff based on their achievements, innovative thinking and contributions to strategic people management.

The 2014 Game Changers hail from a highly diverse and unique set of trades and backgrounds and cut a broad swath across HR. They are making their marks in a variety of human resources practices, including benefits, rewards and recognition, and employee communications at industries as diverse as technology, auto manufacturing, social services, academia and the federal government.
As a 2014 Game Changer and one of the profession’s most innovative and enterprising rising stars, Housman will be profiled in the August issue of Workforce magazine.

Predictive analytics and big data have contributed to some industry -- and enterprise-wide changes not only in how human resources does business but when, why and for whom. As the Chief Analytics Officer for Evolv, you get the feeling Michael Housman is planning something equally big.
After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University in health care policy, Housman, now 33, earned a doctorate in health care management and economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His coursework included microeconomics, medical ethics, statistics and medical sociology.
After an early career filled with data analytics and statistical algorithms, Housman was hired at Evolv, a San Francisco-based firm known for predicitive analytics tools, where he uses his academic foundation to build sophisticated, economic data models related to the workforce.
