AI in Medicine Will Algorithms Replace Doctors

So it turns out algorithms can now diagnose pneumonia better than doctors. Stanford radiologists trained one with 50,000 chest X-rays, and now some are saying we might not even need to train radiologists anymore. Bold, right? While I don’t think we’ll be sending all the doctors home just yet, it does make you wonder—what if we let the algorithms handle the repetitive stuff so doctors can focus more on the whole patient? 🤔
