Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This policy explains what information michaelhousman.com ("the site") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by AI-ccelerator Academy, LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in San Antonio, Texas, for Dr. Michael Housman. Questions: michael@aiperformancelab.ai.

Information you give us

When you join the mailing list we collect your email address. When you use the contact, booking or content-request forms we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, organization, event details and message.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting providers keep standard server logs: IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of each request, for security and operations. Ahrefs Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Only if you click "Allow cookies" on our banner, Google Analytics and HubSpot also collect: the pages you view and how long you stay, the page that referred you, how you interact with the site, your IP address and approximate location (city, region, country), and your browser, device type and operating system. HubSpot can connect this browsing to the details you later submit in a form, so we have context when we reply.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and arrange talks, workshops and other work you ask about.
  • To send the newsletter you signed up for.
  • To operate, secure and improve the site.
  • With your consent, to understand how visitors use the site and which channels bring them.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

  • Google Analytics (only with your consent): traffic measurement.
  • HubSpot (only with your consent): visit tracking linked to inquiries.
  • Ahrefs: cookieless visit counts.
  • Autosend: newsletter delivery and form notifications.
  • Amazon Web Services and Vercel: hosting.

Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit, a banner explains the cookies and tracking we use and asks you to choose. Nothing beyond what the site needs to work runs until you click "Allow cookies". If you choose "Essential only" or make no choice, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless, consent-denied mode and HubSpot never loads. We save your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, or block cookies in your browser.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep form submissions and newsletter records until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information; email us and we will respond.

International visitors

The site is operated from the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new "Last updated" date.
